Spring Has Sprung

Hello Hedgehogs! 🌸

Things are warming up around the Creek for Spring! After a bitterly cold, snowy winter, it's nice to now have a bit of warmth on our spiky quills!

v0.7.0-Experimental has landed! This update has Ui design changes! Since it's Spring, I thought I'd do a "Spring Clean" and spend some time improving the visuals and performance of the site.

I've revamped the homepage and improved its messaging and visuals! I hope you like the new mountain range parallax! That was super fun to make and reflects more of the world than it did before!

The Hedgehog Creek logo has also been refreshed! The old logo felt too generic and didn't have personality.

The in-game Ui has also been slightly refreshed. I've decided to remove a lot of the "brown" wood-like colours and gone with a brighter, more cheerful theme. Let me know what you think! The in-game navigational menu now houses zoom controls, world clock and weather status. The world will also appear less zoomed in on smaller screens but you can play with the controls your self now!

During the winter, Hedgehog Creek officially had snow effects! I've expanded on the weather system to add a more dynamic weather system. Now that it's warming up, we won't see snow, but instead rain (yuck, I know, but it adds to the atmosphere)! The rain will occur at random intervals, and depending on whether you are indoors or outside, you will hear relaxing rain sound effects. The weather effects are visible to everyone in real time.

You can now add even more friends! Sorry it's taken a little longer to do this! The limit has been raised from 50 to 80. I've also added a search bar to find your lost friends hiding in your list and improved its performance!
